Sherlock Investments is a family-owned business that has been deploying capital in the Seattle metropolitan area since 1998. Our investments typically range from $3 million to $10 million in size and with a focus on commercial real estate. Sherlock Investment’s principals, individually and collectively, have invested in all major commercial real estate property types throughout the United States.
Sherlock Investments specializes in self-storage, operating a property management company and over 180,000 gross square feet of premium storage in the Bothell and Woodinville markets. Additionally, expansion is underway with the construction of our class A facility located in Duvall, with a targeted completion date in late 2018.
David Beal (Founder & CEO)
David Beal is a serial entrepreneur who got his start investing in real estate by renovating single family homes in his home city of Lansing, Michigan. He has built, improved, sold, and operated real-estate for over 40 years.
As founder and CEO, David Beal oversees the strategic development of the company and the deployment of its investment capital. Mr. Beal has been investing in Washington State since 1989 when he formed Washington Financial Corporation.
Mr. Beal received his Master’s in Architecture from the University of Oregon and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Michigan State University.
Aaron Beal (Managing Partner)
As managing partner, Aaron Beal focuses on the expansion and operation of the company and its subsidiaries. Mr. Beal worked in commercial real-estate lending for 7 years in Dallas, TX focusing on commercial office and deploying over $200m in investment capital.
Mr. Beal received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington.
